The dudes over at Wikipedia warn that "unrequited love" can lead to depression, low-self esteem, anxiety, and - in extreme cases - even suicide. Yikes, maybe all I have is a crush, because my most severe symptom is doodling girly hearts.

So Emily and I hung out "as friends" the other day at the indoor skatepark. It was hardly a date - she had friends there and so did I. We just chatted, I showed off my moves as best I could and that was it. Funny, though, that her boyfriend, Dave, never came up in conversation.

In other news, I'm getting geared up for Thanksgiving number two (you'll remember that I went up north to celebrate Canadian Thanksgiving last month). I seriously love me some turkey. This year my mom has got a little Martha Stewart and has decided to deep fry the whole turkey! I don't know how she's going to do it, but I can't wait.
