Backstreet Boys - Unbreakable

Once one of the most popular bands in the world, the Backstreet Boys are taking another stab at a comeback. The boys released Never Gone in 2005 (after being Kinda Gone for about five years) and are hoping that this album will launch the comeback that it didn't. Unbreakable is a more mature and less chirpy album than Never Gone. It showcases the boys' impressive vocal talents and reminds us why the nearly defunct boy band was once popular. If you've never understood the BSB phenomenon, this album is unlikely to win you over, but diehard fans won't be disappointed.

Backstreet Boys - Unbreakable Fun Facts

Unbreakable is the first Backstreet Boys album that Kevin Richardson isn't involved in.

Unbreakable is available in a Deluxe Edition that contains extra tracks, a Backstreet Boys poster and special packaging.

The album debuted at number one in the charts in Japan.

Emanuel Kiriakou, who is listed as one of the album's producers, has also produced for Nick Lachey, Taylor Hicks, Katharine McPhee and Ashley Tisdale.

Carrie Underwood - Carnival Ride

Carrie Underwood's sophomore album, Carnival Ride, is a quieter and less poppy follow-up to her debut album, Some Hearts. Her small-town-girl-done-good album is decidedly country, but it still has enough hooks to please a pop-loving crowd. Carrie hasn't taken any chances with this album - she's the same girl next door that America knows and loves. Carnival Ride may not be the most surprising album around, but it's definitely worth checking out.
