Transformers - Autobots vs. Decepticons on Earth!
The Transformers are aliens from the planet Cybertron, so what are they doing busting heads on Earth? It turns out the powerful All Spark that created them got lost while they were fighting over it and ended up here - and only 16 year-old Sam Witwicky (Shia LaBeouf) knows how to find it! He goes to buy his first car, it turns out to be an alien robot and wham, bam, suddenly he's in the middle of a 10,000 year-old war.Transformers - Awesome Robot Action!
Wow! Not only are the Transformers 30-foot tall robots with rocket launchers and laser cannons, they also move like ninjas! Their transformations, from vehicle to robot and back look incredible too - especially Starscream flipping out in mid-flight as he rumbles with a pack of fighter jets. On top of that, there's a ton of action with explosions galore as the Autobots and Decepticons battle each other and the US military.Transformers - Robo-Flaws
It's packed with explosions and action, unfortunately it's missing a bunch of brain cells. From the All Spark not quite turning out to be as important as you thought, to the Autobots acting like a bunch of bumbling dorks when they aren't busting Decepti-chops, you'll be counting the seconds between the action scenes! A massive movie deserves massive DVD features! After you've watched the smashing action of the Transformers flick for a fourth or fifth time, you may want to dig deeper into the DVD - it has great features that take a look at how the movie was made, the story behind the battle and much more!Transformers - Bottom Line
Get your butt out the door and into the theater! The Transformers movie is a rip-roaring two-hour long ride with giant robots, explosions, huge action scenes and incredible special effects. It's a great movie, but you're missing half the fun if you don't watch it on the big screen!Transformers Rating:
