Prom may be one of the most important events in high school, but disadvantaged teens aren't able to go cuz they can't afford to buy a dress or tuxedo. But prom charities are making sure everyone is able to attend their prom by helping out. Find out how!

Non-profit organizations like The Princess Project have been popping up across North America for the past few years and you can now find one in almost every city. There's The Glass Slipper Project in Chicago, which was featured on Oprah, Fairy Godmothers in Philadelphia, The Ruby Room in Seattle, and The Cinderella Project in Vancouver.Inside the Dream
Inside the Dream is a Canadian charity that provides prom gear to both girls AND guys! They've got dresses for all the ladies, as well as suits, tuxedos, dress shirts, ties, cuff links and even cologne - all at no cost! Get more info on Inside the Dream.Limos for Lives
Limos for Lives is a fundraising project organized by The Starfish Children's Fund. It isn't about tuxes and gowns, but about giving up a small luxury - like riding a limo to your prom - and using that money to help under-privileged kids in third world countries. Three high school seniors named Sophie Cole, Brittany McCann and Katie Funk started this project back in 2004 to raise money to open a school for blind children in Calcutta, India.
