2005 Major League Baseball Preview
Who's going to win the World Series? Will the Red Sox repeat as World Champions? Kidzworld previews the 2005 baseball season.
Division Champs: New York Yankees (East), Minnesota Twins (Central), Anaheim Angels (West)
Wildcard: Boston Red Sox
AL MVP: Alex Rodriguez, New York Yankees
Division Champs: Florida Marlins (East), St. Louis Cardinals (Central), San Diego Padres (West)
Wildcard: Chicago Cubs
NL MVP: Carlos Delgado, Florida Marlins
Hot - The Washington Nationals. After leaving Montreal to become the Washington Nationals, baseball's newest team has cool uniforms, an upgraded roster and will be playing in front of a sold-out stadium all season.
Not - Barry Bonds. He's accused of using steroids, he's about as friendly as a starving shark at a pool party and he'll probably miss most of the 2005 season recovering from knee surgery. Don't pick the Giants to win the National League West and don't pick Bonds in your Fantasy League.

2005 MLB Preview - American League Picks and Predictions
As long as the New York Yankees continue to buy All Stars like Paris Hilton buys shoes, they'll continue to stay on top of the American League. New York reloaded their pitching staff by picking up Randy Johnson and Carl Pavano and should be able to get more run production from Alex Rodriguez and Jason Giambi (even if he isn't juiced up). While the Boston Red Sox are the reigning World Series champs, they don't have enough weapons this year to compete with the Yankees. But look out for the Anaheim Angels - they've got the bats and the pitching to do some damage in the playoffs.Kidzworld 2005 Picks
2005 MLB Preview - National League Picks and Predictions
The National League is tougher to call, with several teams having a good chance at making the playoffs. The San Diego Padres could be a surprise to take the West, especially with Barry Bonds gone from the Giants. And don't be shocked if the Mets or the Marlins end up on top of the National League East. The only real safe picks are for the St. Louis Cardinals to win the Central division and for the Milwaukee Brewers to be as painful to watch as an Olsen twins movie.Kidzworld 2005 Picks
