Top 10 Ways to Feel Great!

January is Feel Great Month, but it can be pretty hard to feel great during these cold, winter months. So we've got the scoop on 10 different ways that'll help you beat the winter blues and feel good!

10. Veg Out

Instead of going out with your friends this weekend, rent your fave movies and plant yourself in front of the TV. Make sure to rent a lot of comedies since laughter is the best medicine!

9. Indulge Your Sweet Tooth

Doesn't rocky road ice cream drizzled with chocolate sauce and whipped cream with a cherry on top sound delish? Don't be afraid of overstepping your calorie-intake once in awhile. Go ahead, grab a spoon and dig in!

8. Get Pampered

One of the best ways to unwind is to pamper yourself from head to toe. Apply a face mask to hydrate your skin, scrub down with an exfoliator to rid your bod of any flakiness, and hop into a relaxing bubble bath to soothe your tired muscles.

7. Spoil Yourself

Dying to buy an MP3 player or those DC sneakers that you've been eyeing for months, but keep putting off cuz it's too expensive? Treat yourself to something special cuz you deserve it!

6. Switch to Tea

As much as we all love caramel frappuccinos, we know that tea, especially green tea, is a healthier option for us. People who drink tea tend to sleep better, have nicer skin, have more energy and maintain a healthier weight.

5. Treat Your Feet

Your feet are probably one of the most neglected body parts, so give 'em a massage and pedicure. There's no better way to brighten your day than with a set of pretty, polished nails.

4. Revamp Your Look

Beat the winter blahs by getting a fashion makeover! Get a funky haircut and hit the mall to stock up on the season's newest trends for clothes, accessories and make-up.

3. Catch Some ZZZ's

Getting a good night's sleep helps you function better and be more alert the next day. Instead of staying up late to play Guitar Hero or pulling an all-nighter for tomorrow's history quiz, call it a night and wake up a lil' early to sneak in some last-minute studying.

2. Take Up a Hobby

Whether it's photography, knitting, or learning to play the drums, get involved in an activity that you've always been interested in. Participating in a hobby is a great way to unwind and have some quality time for yourself.

1. Get Moving

Hit the slopes with your board or skis, take up yoga or pilates (or both!), or play some b-ball with a pal. Any form of exercise releases endorphins, the body's "feel good hormones," which can help de-stress you.
