When Raman Kia moved to New York, he was introduced to songstress, Leona Naess. Leona nicknamed Raman, Buddahead, which he chose as the name of his band.
When Raman Kia was nine, his dad sent him to live with his mom in England, where he attended a Roman Catholic boarding school. It was here that he was forced to join choir as a punishment.
Originally, when Raman Kia wrote When I Fall, he released it over the internet to see what kind of response it would get. When he started to get some good feedback, he decided to try writing a whole album worth of songs.
