Dragon Ball Z: Buu's Fury GBA Video Game Review

Goku, Gohan, Goten, Vegeta, Trunks and the rest of the Dragon Ball Z warriors are back on the Nintendo Gameboy Advance in this role-playing adventure game sequel to The Legacy of Goku II. This time, Babidi is unleashing Buu on the Earth and the heroes need your help to squash the big, pink, bad guy before he destroys everything! Does this DBZ video game have the power to kick butt? We review it, right here!

Dragon Ball Z Video Game Battle Basics

If you've played either of the Legacy of Goku games then you know how this game works. If you haven't, it'll take you about two minutes to figure it out. You get to control one hero at a time, unleash their powerful martial arts moves with the A button and blasting energy attacks with the B button. Defeating enemies earns you experience points and money that makes you stronger and lets you buy stuff.

Unleash Powerful Attacks!

Buu's Fury is packed full of cool features that make it an awesome game. You get to control a whole bunch of the Z Warriors - including Gotenks and Vegito! You can even customize their powers as you train them for battle. There are items to collect, powerful warriors to defeat and you can even battle against friends in multiplayer games!

Can Buu's Fury Be Beaten?

With this much power, can anything defeat this Gameboy Advance game? Barely. The biggest problem is that it's too easy to kick evil's butt. You'll fly through the game fast, it's good that there are lots of item-collection quests to keep you busy.

How Strong is the Power Rating?

Dragon Ball Z: Buu's Fury is off the charts - awesome battles, tons of Dragon Ball Z warriors, multiplayer gaming and even item quests totally rock the GBA. If you're a fan of the cartoon show, get this game. It's even a great way to start kicking butt with the Z Fighters!

Dragon Ball Z: Buu's Fury Age Rating: Everyone.

Dragon Ball Z: Buu's Fury Thumbs Up:

  • Train the Z Warriors any way you want.
  • Fight with your friends in multiplayer.

Dragon Ball Z: Buu's Fury Thumbs Down:

  • It's too easy.

Dragon Ball Z: Buu's Fury Game Rating:

Yo Gary, I've got a cheat for DBZ Buu's Fury. believe me, it works(I do it all the time.) When Videl is beat up by Spopovitch you've gotta get a Senzu Bean. Well, when you get it, eat it. Talk to Gohan and you'll still give 'em one. check your bag and you'll have 255 Senzu Beans.
    P.S. The game rules!!!!

Imagine_feature What can we say that hasn’t been said already in our review of Eddie Murphy’s latest flick, Imagine That? Well, there IS one thing: the film's DVD was released on October 6, 2009.
Mj_feature Even though This Is It is not really a movie for kids, and some of you may not want to or be allowed to watch it, we thought we'd review it for you because so many kids out there love Michael Jackson.
