Dear Dish-It,
I'm 16 and I got caught with some drugs. That was the stupidest thing I've ever done and I would give anything to take it back. But now my parents won't let me see my 13 year-old girlfriend. She means the world to me. She is the only one who makes me feel happy. What should I do?

Dude, the deal with growing up is that when you get caught doing dumb stuff, there are usually consequences. You already know all of this though, right? So instead of sulking and getting angry about not being able to hang with your GF, maybe you should work on building up the trust that you have lost with your 'rents. The sooner you take responsibility for your actions, the sooner your parents will loosen their grip on ya - and that means you'll be back to hanging with your girlfriend before you know it! If you're that crazy about this girl, a little time apart shouldn't be too big of a deal. She'll be there when all this blows over and you can go back to being the happy couple you were before.
