Jessica Andrews, Now CD Review

With the release of her third CD, NOW, Jessica Andrews lets the rest of the world know what country music has known for a few years. Nashville stars can shine bright in other musical skies as well.

The follow up to her breakthrough CD, Who I Am, also proves that this 19 year-old from Tennessee can go toe-to-toe with any other star in the country universe. On the CD's two standout tracks, There's More To Me Than You and Good Time, this former ACM Top New Female Vocalist Award winner just steps up to the mike and lets her twang do the talking. Jessica Andrew's talented pipes are really what carries the album cuz, for the most part, the lyrics are been-there, heard-that kind of stuff. Also, the production is very typically radio-friendly. (That's a nice way of saying it's boring.) Even with all the pluses of NOW, it seems Jessica Andrews is still waiting for a great song to match her great voice. But when she gets one... watch out Faith Hill and Shania Twain, there'll be a new crossover Queen in town.

Mickey_feature In 2001 Disney released a Christmas Special called Mickey’s Magical Christmas: Snowed In At The House Of Mouse. Now, eight long years later (and just in time for the holidays), the same movie is being re-released on DVD.
