Avril Lavigne is amazing! There's a lot of people out there who think she's not, but they only say things about her because they're jealous! They wish they could sing, have GREAT songs, and have an impact on peoples lives like she does! If Avril gets to see this, just keep doing what you're doing and forget everyone else!

Every time my friend would ask who my favourite singer was, I would say music sucks! Now, I'm in grade seven, and while I'm skimming the TV channels I come across Avril Lavigne's Sk8ter Boi. As soon as I heard the song, I was obsessed!!! I told my friend and she's like, "you have a fave singer!" I love Avril because of her punk attitude - and she writes what she feels. And, I also like her because she does the exact opposite of Britney Spears. Everybody knows that Britney sucks! I'm a tomboy, so is Avril. She taught me something.... I don't care what other people think, so if U think Avril's bad, then maybe you're the type of person who likes to watch Britney walk in her bra. Gross. Avril is the truest singer I know!!! I'm so obsessed I'm listening to her music right now!!!

Avril rocks! I love her down-to-earth sense of style in her songs and how she doesn't try to fit in with everyone. I think that has gotten her farthest in her career. She doesn't try to be like Britney, Christina, or anyone else. She's unique and has a great voice - it's what the music industry needs a lot more of!
