Lisa Leslie - Slam Dunkin' At An Early Age

Lisa Leslie's dunk is not the first time the WNBA star has made basketball history. Lisa began playing b-ball at Morningside High School in Los Angeles where she led the team to two state championships. She made history in her senior year of high school when she scored 101 points in the first half of a game against South Torrance High. Lisa Leslie would've poured in even more points but South Torrance decided not to play the second half because the score was already 102-24! Talk about a major butt kickin'!

Lisa Leslie - The College Years

After high school, Lisa Leslie played basketball at the University of Southern California where she set Pac-10 conference records for points and rebounds. Since finishing college in 1994, Lisa has helped her teams win on both the national and international b-ball courts. She won gold medals in basketball for Team USA at the 1996, 2000 and 2004 Olympic Games., where she was named MVP of the tournament. In 2001, Lisa Leslie made WNBA history by becoming the first player to win the regular season MVP, the All-Star Game MVP and the playoff MVP in the same season and helped the Los Angeles Sparks win their first WNBA title.

Lisa Leslie has also been a star on the runway. She's appeared in Vogue magazine and done modelling for Armani and Tommy Hilfiger.

Lisa says she gets her height and work ethic from her mother who is six feet three inches tall and used to be a truck driver.

Lisa's fave meal is pork chops, rice and corn.
