Dear Dish-It,
First of all, I like this boy named Brandon and he likes me. We would make a good couple, but he acts real stupid and he had to take summer school this past summer. I don't want a boy who is not smart... but I like him. Should I forget about him or get with him?
GhettoSista

Dear GhettoSista,
If I were Brandon, I think I would be running in the opposite direction! If you really liked him, you wouldn't be so judgmental and talk about him like he's been diagnosed with a contagious case of stupidity. What exactly do you like about Brandon? Is it because you think he's cute? Because if that's the only reason, then it's not good enough. Sure, this guy had to go to summer school, but that doesn't make him a loser. If it bugs you so much, then stay away from him and date someone in the chess club. The last thing anyone needs is someone who makes them feel stupid or like they're not good enough - and it sounds like that would happen if you dated him.

Got a burning question? Need some love directions? Thinking about stuff like teen suicide, depression, sex, low self-esteem, boyfriends, girlfriends, losing old friends, bullying or peer pressure, but are too scared to ask your parents? Don't be scared to Dish-It. Just remember, if you hang out in chat with other Kidzworld members who know you by your nick, you might want to use a secret nick when you write in. That way, no one will ever know it's you. Remember though, Dish-It gets tons of letters a day, so she can't answer 'em all. But keep checking the column cuz chances are, she'll be answering something very similar to your question soon. Thanks! Got some words of wisdom you want to share? We'll dish them up too.
